My Heavenly Home!
Thank God no human can redefine the home in heaven that God has prepared for those who love Him. Next to our salvation, Jesus’ promise to prepare a place for us to live with Him in eternity has to be the greatest hope for every Christian. Each night that we lay our head on our pillows, we have the peace of knowing that tomorrow brings no fear. We will either spend it walking with Him on earth or walking with Him in heaven! Have you forgotten about your home in heaven? Life has a way of pulling your eyes off the One who is preparing a mansion just for you! Don’t let the cares of this life and your responsibilities make you forget who is waiting for you at home!

Keep Your Eyes On Him!
Today you might be surrounded by sadness and overcome with crisis, but if you feel your view with God and His greatness, then you will be lifted as He draws you near. As for the other unwanted or unneeded things-they should either remove themselves from your life or be prepared to be removed by the One you worship and adore. Keep your eyes on Him! Whatever you do, don’t look at your problems! He will plant your feet on the solid ground if you will only keep your focus on His face-even while the enemy is at your heels.

Praise Him!
Of all God’s creations, humans seem to have the hardest time consistently praising God. We grow tired and forget that God is in control. With impatient hearts and complaining spirits, we trudge on in our own efforts. Instead of singing praises to God for the joy He has given, we forget our blessings and simply focus on getting through the day. Satan is the victor in this situation when we allow him to rob us of our song. Let’s put a new song on our lips today and rejoice in the goodness of His love.

Don't Give Up!
Do you ever wake up and feel like you have nothing left to give as a Christian? The struggle to find the strength for the battle is nothing new. We can quit, but if countless other Christians have remained steadfast through their difficult times, we can too. If you are experiencing burnout and finding yourself shutting down, God is waiting for you! Your heavenly Father has the strength you need to face today, tomorrow and even eternity. Stop thinking about what you can’t do. Start depending on God and find out what you can do through Him today!

Forgiven!
Does Satan ever remind you of your shameful past to make you feel unworthy? You don’t need to listen to his nonsense anymore! No sin is bigger than the depths of God’s love and grace. If you have confessed your sin before God in repentance and received His forgiveness, your sins are removed as far as the east is from the west. He remembers them no more. The next time Satan comes to remind you of your past, just remind him of his future and Christ’s blood that was given for you!

Need A Hand?
Having someone by your side to help you through life’s problems is a blessing from God. Do you feel alone in facing your battles today? His love and strength are as close as the next prayer. When you need an “extra” hand to get through a particularly tough day, He knows and cares. God loves you so much that He will send the exact person you need to help hold you up. If you are in a heavy situation right now, pray and watch as God proves Himself mighty in sending the encouragement you need.

Prayer!
Did you pray today? Although we say prayer is important, how much time do you actually spend praying one, five or ten minutes? Are your prayers more than “bless them” and “keep them from harm” prayers? Prayer is the most important thing we can do every day. Earnest prayer will help us both personally and professionally more than anything else in this life. I challenge you today to pray frequently, earnestly and fervently.

Be Renewed Today!
As each day passes let us be aware of the work that the Lord is doing in our lives. While our flesh may be “falling apart” and our physical bodies are suffering, it is our spiritual lives that are taking bloom and growing. What a renewal that is, to become like Jesus! This is a daily process, one that will take a lifetime. Fortunately God never gives up on us and He will patiently do this work in our lives every day. Let us submit to Him daily as He forms us in His image!

Focus!
Are your responsibilities distracting you from hearing God’s voice today? Do your prayers seem to get stuck on the ceiling? Do you find yourself re-reading what you just read in the Bible and not getting anything from the passage? Stop and look up! Focus your eyes on the one who loves you the most. He is waiting for your undivided attention, so He can teach you great and marvelous things. Seek him diligently so that you may walk in His perfect will.

Do You Need Encouragement?

Exercise with His Word!
As Christians, “forgetting” to stay in the Word of God daily can ruin your spiritual walk. Life is hard enough without having God’s word to guide you. Don’t allow laziness, procrastination, or even the daily diversions of life to rob you of the strength you need for each day’s tasks. There is simply one way to combat forgetting, and that is remembering. Ask Him to help you prioritize and make time for reading His word. Without it we are doomed for failure!

The Easy Way or God's Way
Taking the easy way out is common today. Most saved people consider the testing of their faith something to be avoided or eliminated altogether. Instead of choosing to walk through life’s trials with God, we bypass God and use manmade answers. Is life stretching you to the limits and trying your patience? Be sure in knowing that God is working in your life! He knows how demanding each day can be and wants you to trust Him “by hand.” Place your hand and the reins of your life in His today. Allow Him to perform a work in your life.

Servanthood
In living the Christian life, you may face “chores” God has given you to do. What about you? Are you complaining about the chores God has given you to do or have you learned to submit to the lesson of servanthood? Make no mistake, God will keep leading you back to what He last asked you to do until you say, “: Yes, Lord. Here I am send me.” Embrace the responsibility and see the task for what it is an opportunity to glorify God and bless others. Is there anything you could be doing better with your life?

Joy!
God’s joy is free. It is available for all who will receive. The joy of the Lord is limitless and can penetrate into the depths of who you are. The joy of the Lord also travels beyond happiness. Happiness is based on your circumstances; joy is based on your faith in God. Circumstances will change and with every change there comes the possibility of losing your happiness. God never changes; therefore the chances of losing your joy are impossible if you are focused on the joy-giver. God’s joy is ready and waiting. He’s not stingy. Be joyful in Jesus today!

Christian Depression
Depression is an epidemic that is sweeping across America. A startling fact is how many Christians are walking around with that diagnosis. What has happened to the Christians? We have let Satan rob us of our joy, gain control of our minds and attack our physical bodies. Yes, we will get tired in our walk with Christ, yes, we will face trials and tribulations, but we have the promise of deliverance. We must choose to walk in victory! We must call upon the Lord for His mercy and healing virtue! If you feel a symptom of depression creeping into your life, call upon the Lord immediately! Don’t allow it to take root in your life.
Be encouraged today!

Broken Promises
Have your ever had a promise broken? We make so many promises in life that we often forget all that we have said. Haven’t we all heard someone say, “But you promised!” You and I make mistakes and will break a number of promises in our lifetime, but there is one who has never broken a promise! I’m speaking of our blessed Savior! He is just waiting to fulfill His promises in our lives. His promises are exceedingly great and precious according to His Holy Word. Can you imagine the disappointment our Savior has when we don’t claim the promises He has for us? Every word of scripture is a promise of God! I choose to believe the Promise Keeper today. How about you???????

He Makes All Things New
As Christians, Satan attempts to isolate and defeat us in our failures by convincing us that no one understands our problems. Although each person’s experience may be slightly different, we all deal with the same basic sinful temptations man has experienced since the Garden of Eden. Thinking we are alone in fighting our battles, we become discouraged in our Christian walk. Are you experiencing a personal struggle in your walk with the Lord today? Perhaps the stress of life is revealing character flaws that cause you to stumble. Don’t despair. You’re not alone! You have a loving Savior who forgives and changes your life to “make all things new!”

Patience
Patience is more than a virtue; it is a fruit of the spirit that must be developed in our character. What about you? Are you acting perturbed or responding negatively to your co-workers and family members during the day? Relationships require an intense amount of love and patience that only comes from walking with the Lord. The next time you find yourself “losing it” after a long day, remember that impatience can ruin everything, including the relationships with those you love the most. Ask the Lord to help you demonstrate patience today and season your words with grace.

Broken
Over and over again in scripture we see this same message, that those who have had their hearts broken find a very special relationship with God. When we are self-sufficient, the captain of our own ship, there is no need for God. The Lord has taught us that this is wrong, but it has only been through the breaking process that we have found that we need God more than any words could say. When the Lord has broken that hard shell that surrounds our hearts, then the love for God can grow and take shape. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, for He is the one doing the breaking. He breaks us so that He might use us. It is an act of love. One we will never regret!

Character.........
The ability to live Godly is something every Christian seeks to attain. What about you? Have you taken a good look lately at your attitude and actions during the course of your day? We all fall short of the glory of God, but are you allowing God to change you as He reveals those areas in your life that need to come under His authority? What is God’s Word revealing about the true state of your character? Let’s ask Him today to increase the fruit of righteousness in our lives so that our character will reflect His glory!

Distractions
Distractions, everyday you face them as a Christian. Although some may seem good, they can steal time from your relationship with God. Learning to recognize each interruption as either a divine rescheduling or an evil diversion takes discernment that only comes from the Holy Spirit. Going with the flow and failing to pray for guidance caused many problems for people in the Bible. We are no different today. We seek man’s opinions before or even as a replacement to God’s divine direction for our lives. Take the time to pray for wisdom each morning and throughout the day to save you from taking a dangerous detour.

Complacent Christians
Complacent Christians are of no use to the Lord. Allowing Satan to lure them to sleep, they no longer have the passionate fire for serving Christ. Has complacency wrapped its ugly fingers around your heart? If you haven’t felt a burden for the lost, gone to church or even spent time in prayer and bible study for ages, chances are your fire is almost out. Before “I don’t care” becomes a permanent part of your spiritual vocabulary, heed God’s warning and let the Holy Spirit fill you anew. Remember God dislikes “lukewarm” Christians!
“He answered: " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind';” Luke 10:27a

Weeds
Praise God for Christ who paid the penalty with His blood and cleanses all who receive His gift of eternal life. However, even though God sees us as forgiven through Christ’s work on the cross, our flesh continues to pop up new “weeds” that quench and choke out the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives. If we pray and confess daily, it’s much easier to defeat Satan and sin. Are there some weedy patches growing in your life? Don’t wait until sin has you completely ensnared before you deal with it. Stop and ask the Holy Spirit to give you strength to pull out all those weeds, so your life might resemble a garden of Christ-like love.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

Stand Firm
What do you do when life doesn’t work? When you can’t pay a bill or your relationships unravel? How do you handle the disappointments of your heart? Isn’t it easy to tell others that God is all that they need and He will come through for them but then not believe it for yourself? The truth is that our flesh and heart often fail. We forget. We struggle. And yes, sometimes we even pout. But God remains true to His character regardless of our wishy-washy faith. I challenge you to stand on the Rock today and let Him be the source for all your needs!
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever." Psalms 73:26

Rejection
Do you find it difficult to share with the people that the world rejects? While Christ was here on earth, He spent His time loving people that others had forgotten. Just as His unbiased love took Him to the cross for everyone’s sin, He wants us to impart the same type of love to those we come in contact with. Don’t let someone’s social status, appearance or their past keep you from extending a hand of love. Ask the Lord to help you lay down fears and misconceptions and see each person through eyes of love.

Seek The Lord
"Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore."
When we look to ourselves for strength to overcome any given situations, we will find failure. Human strength has no place in spiritual warfare. It is worthless and until we are able to face that fact we will find ourselves failing over and over again. It is only when we look to the Lord and ask for His strength that we can find victory in all of life’s circumstances. It is a simple act, but one which we resist so much. Let us agree to “seek His face always,” to live in His presence, so that we will always look to Him in trials and struggles and seek His strength. Victory will be ours!

Remain Steadfast
If someone gave you a piece of paper and said, “Write down your greatest needs,” what would you write? Would you write a few short sentences, or would you fill the entire page with a huge list of items?
As unique as each person’s needs may be, if you truly look inside your heart, chances are you’ll discover your deepest needs are love, significance, and acceptance. These needs are not easily met. Even your own family can fail in giving you the encouraging positive feedback that you need. So where do you go to fill your emotional void?
Praise God we have a loving heavenly Father who is more than enough to meet our deepest needs. Be encouraged! God’s acceptance, approval, and love are all you need. Even though others may never understand the many benefits and blessings of a Christian walk, you know the truth! Remain steadfast in your walk, so when He returns, you’ll be standing on the right side of the door that leads to eternal life!

Crusade Update
Good morning everyone! We received a call from Gloria at the ministry office today. Internet connection has not been available so she has not been able to post personal updates. The crusade is going great and many lives have been touched. The people of Uganda have been gracious to Gloria and received her with open arms.
Gloria has been keeping a journal of all her activities and will share those with everyone upon her return. As she begins her final week in Uganda, please continue to uplift her in prayer. Specifically pray for her health, safety and the anointing as she delivers God's Word to the people.

The Aroma of His Presence
The broadcast was amazing. All of my senses have been invaded by the presence of the Lord. The sweet aroma of His presence and the taste of His goodness. My eyes are still red from all tears shed during the broadcast. His word soared the waves to reach a potential of over 25 million people in Uganda, Sudan and Tanzania. This trip has been amazing thus far. The crusade begins Thursday. We must reach the lost at any cost!
International Broadcasting Today!
International broadcasting starts today! I am on the way now to the radio station to broadcast to all of Uganda. Oh, the excitement! Please pray for me today as His Word travels through the airwaves into Uganda and beyond.

Hungry Mosquitoes
I will never understand why God allowed those two mosquitoes on the ark. I am convinced that it must be to really try my faith and patience. Mosquito repellant just does not work in some places, particularly where I am now. I am about to pray for the Lord to sanctify those little guys or make their system upset so that they will quit feasting on me. I am okay, but just wish they were not quite so hungry!
Awaken Our Hearts!
I was awakened at 4am this morning by the cries of the people. Their voices carried through the early morning air as they were praying to their false gods. My, oh, my….why in this world can we not get up early in the mornings like David did and cry unto our LIVING GOD! Lord, shake your people, everyone one of us with the passion to CRY unto You, our Lord. Give us the awakening that we need and help us to hearken unto that awakening.

Exploring the Land
I visited the bush country today with Don and Marty McLaughlin from Bible Voice Broadcasting. We explored vocational training programs for women. Poverty is everywhere. I wish that everyone could have the opportunity to experience the magnitude of the situation here. I know that it would change their lives forever. It reminds me of the Word that says, “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” We have so much to be thankful for. The conditions here would break your heart.

Departing for Uganda
My plane departs today at 12:40. Preparing to leave for the airport now and feel the Holy anointing for this trip. This journey is going to be incredible, not because of me but because of obedience and the anointing. Without the anointing I cannot even live and I surely would be a hopeless case. I cannot exist without that precious, most precious anointing. The Lord is EVERYTHING to my life. Please pray for me as I embark on this journey.

Upcoming Trip to Uganda, Africa
I am headed as fast as I can to Uganda, Africa in October! I just CANNOT wait. The Women's Conferences are ready to go! Gotta' go; gotta' go; GOTTA' TELL about Jesus! Gotta' sing; gotta' work; gotta' pray and tell of His love...OH such love!
I will need the prayers of everyone that will pray on this trip. This trip will be intense in many different ways. I will be checking out some medical facilities, vocational school needs, in addition, to the conferences.
The opportunity for radio broadcast to several countries is also highly probable. May the Lord bless this effort with His abundance.
The ladies in Uganda have such a difficult time due to the very nature of the culture......so by all means, put them on your prayer lists to remember daily.
God bless everyone that reads this post.

Use Your Life for the Lord
Be kind to everybody at every moment everywhere! We never know when death or tragedy will call. Last week, my brother-in-law fell dead with a heart attack. A friend's precious mother passed. This past Wednesday, my cousin passed.
YOU NEVER know when the Lord is going to call you. Is your heart right w/ God? Are you ready to meet Him? Now may be the time for you to accept the Lord as Savior of your life. It may be the time to rededicate your life to Him and His service.
Song: "Only one life, so soon it will pass. Only what's done for Christ will last. Only one chance to do His will. So give to Jesus all your days; it's the only life that pays. When you recall, you have but one life."
Let's, together, use the rest of our life for the Lord!

Don't Be Mad at God!
Don't be mad at God when things aren't going your way. Analyze it: He said to call upon Him & He would answer. He said to Draw yourself to Him & He would draw Himself to you. In both instances, WE have to do something before He does. Need prayers answered...try getting closer to Him!! It REALLY DOES make a difference when you pray to the Lord! Try it! You just might get your answer....

Prayer for the Lord's Power
Lord, use us in these last days to bring hope and deliverance to this world. Lord, show Yourself. Show the mighty; show the supernatural; visit us with divine healing for others....the kind of which we must sacrifice ourselves unto You until Your power is born and manifested in our lives.
Lord, give us the strength to manage intense prayer and the pushing back of our desires until nothing is left but You, my precious Lord.....Lord, help us to be strong in Your Presence today and feed on You. In Jesus' name......
Please feed on the Lord Jesus today for the health of your soul!

When We Mess Up........New Mercies
There are times we absolutely mess up in the Lord. When we do, we just get up, brush ourself off, & simply ask the Lord to forgive us & keep going! We never give up no matter what! To quit is exactly what the enemy wants. But, we are made of GOOD stuff! We continue to move on as human as we all may be! We must always be careful NOT to let the enemy OR our flesh influence our persona.
Let's keep the Lord of glory evident in our lives at all times.....
That is a great feeling to know without a doubt that we can still go to Him and His mercies are new every morning.

Are We Walking as We Say We Are?
We should display the Lord in what we say or do. The word says we are "in the world but not OF the world". We should not let our good be evil spoken of.....That's not saying that we are perfect & can't have a good time but when it looks or suggest that we are more of the worldly things, then how can the lost see the difference? People are watching to see if we are in the faith.
We must guard ourselves to ensure that we are not sending the wrong message relative to our profession as Christians. Paul inferred that he must practice what he preached so that he did not become a castaway.
Lord, help us today to try to walk in Your example so that the world may look at us and see a difference and ask us about the joy of our salvation.

The Rock
When you have hit ROCK BOTTOM in life, that means that there is nothing else left but ROCK.....At that point, you are exactly where you need to be. Will you stand on it or get up and leave it to find a more grassy and comfortable place?
