Please don't compare yourself talents to others; God made you for YOU!  Use what you have for Him to the best of your ability. Of course, always try to improve yourself, but realize that you are His workmanship and that is what matters. Bless the Lord today with the abundant gift of you and stop worrying about the competition because there should not be any between God's wonderful people!

2 Thank yous! Thank you all for the Congratulations on the Community Benefit Award from Carolinas Healthcare System yesterday! Also, thank you so much for the prayers re: this skin rash. It has improved some but is hanging on. Going to dr today. Didn't sleep last night due to all of the itching....but maybe today will be better at some point. Thank you again. My pastor has sent me home to rest, rest and more rest, I appreciate that from my heart!

Oh my! Just found out that I have received the Community Benefit Award for this month from Carolinas Healthcare! ~I am so honored. Wow! The presentation will be during the Annual Awards Banquet next April.....but still...What an honor! Some article is coming out to the entire hospital system. What can I say except that I am touched

Got to get into the Presence of the Lord. That is when His glory flows and healing comes....That means quiet time with no calls, no texts, no emails, no external stimuli.... Just a serious person, serious prayer and an on-time God makes for a healing combination....

A car cannot run with an empty gas tank. Neither can I go on when I am drained dry. Taking time to refuel bc I have been running on fumes for a long, long time.

Health fair today....Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in China Grove..10-2....Concordia Lutheran Prediabetic assessment from 1-3....I will be there working both...Come on out!

A friend of mine posted a good word from the Bible this morning. It said, "The heart of the righteous will study before answering...."; Sometimes, we all need to study before opening our mouth. I know that I do.

Sometimes, because there are so many pressing things, you wonder just how to start praying.....Maybe at those times, you should start praising.

The enemy of our soul will try to tell us that prayer does not work, that our prayers are in vain.....but they are not in vain....Keep believing; our Lord has heard and will restore and will bring us out......You may feel all alone, broken, cast down and forsaken....left holding the empty bags of this life.....but look up, deliverance is on the way...Keep trusting; it is just a matter of time!

My mom, my brother and I were together today for the first time in years. It was good......Rare and such precious times....Hope that can happen again soon!
